Tui na (Chinese massage) is a form of traditional Chinese medical therapy, often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and Chinese herbs. Tui na is a hands-on bodywork that uses touch to balance the body's energy. Practitioners may brush, knead, roll/press, and rub the areas between each of the joints as a means of opening the body's defensive qi, and getting the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles.
